Hold 'Em Tournament
The Texas Hold’em Tournament will begin at
6:45pm on Friday under the lunch tent at St. Remy Hall.

Cutest
Baby Contest
The cutest baby contest is open to babies 12 months and under who
are the children or grandchildren of St. Remy parishioners. The
entry fee is $5.00 and the needed information is the baby’s full
name, parents’ and grandparents’ names, and the date of birth.
An 8x10 picture can be dropped off at the rectory and it does
not need to be framed. The deadline for entry is August
31, 2011. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are announced
around 9:00pm Sunday night.

Rides
C&S
Amusements of Dayton Ohio will be providing mechanical rides,
carnival games and carnival food for the picnic this year.
Rides for all ages will be running Saturday 5:30 –
11:30pm and Sunday 1:30 – 10:30pm.
You can purchase a presale ticket at Buschur’s Market
that can be traded at the picnic for a bracelet.
The presale cost is $15.
At the picnic they will cost $20.
The bracelets will be good all day.
Individual ride tickets are only available at the picnic
and will cost $1.00.
Each ride will take 2-3 tickets.

Running
Raider 5K
On Sunday
on 9:00am a 3.1 mile run over rural roads with a water station
and official timing at the 1 and 2 mile markers. A 1-mile fun
run will begin immediately afterward. And yes, the famous
cannon shot will start the race once again! For more info and

Dodgeball
Tournament
Russia Homecoming's
first annual Dodgeball tournament! The tournament starts in
the Russia School gym at
noon on Sunday, September 4th, and there will be three divisions:
ages 13 & under, ages 14-17, and ages 18 & over. There will be a
$15.00 per team entry fee and there is no limit on the number of
teams Cash prizes to be determined by the number of teams

Diaper Derby
Is
your baby the next all-star crawler? Enter them into the 2nd
annual Buschur's Market Diaper Derby on Sunday, September 4th at
12:30. Babies will compete against each other to prove just
how fast they can get to mom and dad. A parent will be
allowed at each end of the mat to encourage their child
along. There is no entry fee and all babies will be entered
into a drawing for a gift certificate. Contact Lynne Dapore

enter your child. Sign ups end at 12:00pm on Sunday.

The
Russia Homecoming lip sync is back and we want it to be better
than ever! We can only hope to find new talent as
entertaining as this!
The lip sync will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 4th on
the west side of St Remy Hall. There will be cash prizes
awarded: $50 for 1st, $40 for 2nd, and $30 for 3rd. The cost

if you are interested. The music should not contain
inappropriate language or content and will be allowed at the
discretion of Chelsea and Brandi. The music should also be
on a CD. The entry deadline is Friday, August 19th.
