Queen of Hearts
This exciting event will take place on Friday of the picnic in the lunch tent. Ticket sales will be from 6:30-8:45pm, with the drawing at 9:00. The winner will receive 75% and St. Remy will receive 25%. We will also be paying out for face cards. You must be present to win. Food and beverages, including Moeller Brew Barn craft beer, will be available beginning at 6:00.
Texas Hold 'Em Tournament
The 14th annual Texas Hold’em Tournament will begin at 6:45pm on Friday, September 1st under the entertainment tent at St. Remy Hall. For advance sign-up contact Jay Grieshop at grieshop15@yahoo.com or call at (937) 526-4842. You may also sign-up 30 minutes before at the entertainment tent. A limited number of seats are available. Respect Life Baby Contest
If you would like to participate in the annual Respect Life Baby Contest all weekend, please bring an 8x10 baby picture and the $5.00 entry fee to the parish office or place it in the folder located on the table inside the rectory door by Wednesday, August 30th. The baby must be 0-12 months old. You can enter your own child or a grandchild. Please include the baby's full name, date of birth, and the names of the parents and grandparents with the photo. Rides
Bortner Shows Midway of Columbiana, Ohio, will provide mechanical rides this year. The rides they have are considered to be “kiddie” rides, so please take this into consideration when purchasing pre-sale ride tickets. Rides will be operating on Saturday from 5:30-11:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00-10:00 pm. Pre-sale wristbands will be sold for $15/day at Buschur’s Market until Saturday, September 2nd at noon. Individual ride tickets (price is TBD) and wristbands will be sold at the festival for $20/day. Wristbands are good ALL DAY. Bortner Shows Midway will also be providing carnival games and food trailers.
Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament
Saturday, September 2nd at 8:00am. Register your co-ed team of 4 players (2 male, 2 female) by contacting Craig Muhlenkamp at (419)852-1335. $60 entry fee, and there will be an 8-team max, so register early.
Elementary Cornhole Tournament (Grades 3-6)
Saturday, September 2nd at 1:00pm. Sign up 30 minutes before east of St. Remy Hall.
Straw Pile Hunt
Saturday, September 2nd at 7:00pm. Sign-up 10 minutes before east of the Fish Pond.
Running Raider 5K
The 19th annual Running Raider 5K will be on Sunday, September 3rd. The start of the race is 9:00am. Borchers, Liberty, Main, Kelch, Versailles and St. Remy streets will be closed for the race. A one mile fun run will be held after the 5K around 9:45. All runners and walkers are welcome! Register online or by mail, click here!

Dodgeball Tournament
Russia Homecoming's 10th annual Dodgeball tournament. Balls fly at 12:00 on Sunday, September 3rd with four age divisions: 13 & under, 14-17, 18-30, and 30 & over. $25 entry fee per team and no limit on the number of teams. Cash prizes TBD by the number of teams. Gather your team of 6 and send the team name to Spencer & Amber Cordonnier at cordonniercrew6@gmail.com. Day of sign up is 11:30am east of St. Remy Hall.
Diaper Derby
Is your baby the next all-star crawler? Enter them into the 12th annual Diaper Derby on Sunday, September 3rd at 12:00. Babies will compete against each other to prove just how fast they can get to mom and dad. Contact Lynne Dapore (kevinlynnedapore@gmail.com) to enter your child or arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the event at the Entertainment Tent.
